About the Events

At the heart of the 2nd Annual Latino Policy Summit, we delve into the critical civil and socioeconomic challenges affecting Latino communities across Colorado. From addressing wage gaps and housing crises to advocating for better education and healthcare access, we're sparking essential conversations aimed at driving positive change. Our panels, led by esteemed leaders, will explore key topics such as education, economic development, civic engagement, housing, and health. By participating, you're not only contributing to these discussions but also helping to enhance civic engagement and voting turnout in the upcoming 2024 election and beyond, shaping the trajectory of our democratic society.

Simultaneously, we're honored to present the 29th Annual Bernie Valdez Awards Luncheon, an occasion to recognize and celebrate the outstanding individuals who have tirelessly dedicated themselves to empowering Colorado Latinos. As we commemorate CLLARO's 60th Anniversary under the theme "60 Years of Latino Excellence: Embracing Our Heritage, Empowering Our Future," this year's awards hold special significance. We acknowledge and honor those who have made enduring contributions to our communities, reflecting the core values of our organization and inspiring future generations.
