Mia Villa is a recent graduate of Regis University and currently serves as a Research Associate at CLLARO. As a first-generation Latina, her life experiences have highlighted the challenges faced in the U.S. and inspired her to seek meaningful solutions. Her background has laid a strong foundation for her advocacy work, where she aims to make a positive impact on the mental health, opportunities, and rights of Latines in Colorado.

Mia has conducted research through her sociology courses, gaining experience in conducting interviews and reporting her findings. Her research has focused on issues affecting the Latine community, such as immigration and discrimination. Known for her motivation, hard work, and attention to detail, Mia is excited to bring these qualities to her professional career. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games, reading, spending time with family and pets, and making necklaces.
